Dave Gray is a Teacher and Activities Coordinator for Wild Blue, specializing in photography. He has well over a decade of experience working with children in summer camps, schools, and non-profit organizations. He has coached youth soccer teams, led outdoor adventure trips, and taught poetry and photography to children of all ages and walks of life. Before joining the Wild Blue team, Dave worked as an arts grant administrator in the New York City public schools, and as a social worker and case manager in New Jersey. As part of his BA in Sociology from Vassar College, Dave wrote his senior thesis on education that empowers children through self-expression and creativity. A firm believer in each child’s potential to change the world, he spent five months in Mexico studying social development and grassroots organizations. With his camera in hand, he has traveled throughout North America capturing images of natural and human-made beauty. He is dedicated to sharing his awe and appreciation for the world with the kids of Wild Blue.
