All the World's A Stage
Each week, this storytelling and drama class covers a story and a particular storytelling tradition from a different part of the world. With guidance from a professional actor and singer, young participants form their own acting troupe and bring each story to life through its own culturally relevant form of drama.
The class explores different forms of dramatic communication, acting techniques, body language and use of music. On top of all the fun they have, children benefit by strengthening their command of communication skills and raising their awareness of the cultures these stories come from.
